Actionscript physics study.
A kinda sorta attempt at making a physics engine. With a Rube Goldberg machine in mind, I created this room with various widgets that demonstrate physics techniques I have picked up over the last couple of years. Far from finished, I rather doubt I will. I think I got my fix.

Tree House
My two boys, 5 & 8 had asked me for some time to build them a tree house. A fathers knee jerk reaction to this is
Sure, that will be fun, as soon as it gets warm, we are on it.
I can take a guess and say that any Father with boy(s) and @ least one tree in their yard has had good intentions about this. I can take two other guesses and say, most never get round to it and the ones that do, get in over their head and give up or end up with nothing more than a couple of 2×4′s nailed to a tree trunk. I know this because I had those thoughts on day 1,2,3 etc. and had to keep finding the strength to follow through. oi vey!
Lets be clear now, I am a developer now, have been for many years. Sure I worked construction as a young man and learnt a thing or two but lets just say, years of staring at computer monitors and age have taken there toll.
I have this bad habit of completely over doing it and the tree house was no exception. Yes I had to build a “mini house” literally. Anyway I paid the price, blood sweat, tears, frustration, $$ etc. You can see the result on my Flickr site. Glad it’s over. Glad I made it through. Hope my boys appreciate it.
