About Me
I am a freelance iPad, Flash, Flex & Web developer in CT USA.
A member of Easy Designs, owned and operated by my friend Aaron Gustafson. I recently finished working on a Flash application for the Charter For Compassion. I was previously working on next generation payroll software comprising of Flex, Java & Actionscript for Intuit, Mountain View, CA.
I recently submitted my first Cocos2d game for the iPad to the App Store. Read about it here.
I live with my wife Rosanne and my two boys Colin and Liam in rural connecticut. I love coding in Actionscript, reading about Mathmatics and 3D modeling & animating in Maya, tinkering with JavaScript, HTML and CSS. I am also currently studying Objective-C and Cocos2d for the iDevices. I stay busy all the time, making things with my boys, doing gymnastics or working out with my buddies. I love to compose music and play guitar and piano. In the winter I like to snow board. I find interest in almost everything and like to be continuously learning.

Hi,
This may be random but Im creating a game in as3 and having trouble with it. I wanted to be able to hit objects on thats are falling onto the stage, have looked through so much for months as I am kind of new to flash.
Im able to display the change but cant actually figure out how the objects are hit.
I saw you had a slightly similar project. (The motion tracking)
I have asked tutors yet I still can’t find the solution. Just read your about me section and you seem like a nice helpful person. So I thought I’d give it a shot and ask.
I do know you most probably are very busy, it was just that you seemed extremely enthusiastic So I thought I would ask.
If you are willing to help, I look forward to your reply. If you feel I am a burden I do apologies.
Kind regards
Your work is amazing. I have been searching the net for such work done in flash. I need Spirals!!!!
I have a small project I am working on. I am hoping you could maybe advise me on or possible contract to do. I think you could maybe be the person to pull it off.
I am a teacher and I am trying to get a visual representation of a learning theory called, ” Spiral Learning “. Spiral Learning theory at it’s basic heart teaches topics in a spiral. The broader and easier a topic is the more it resides on the outside of the spiral. The harder and more obscure the topic is the deeper the topic is in the spiral. I need a dynamic visualization for this. Meaning it is generated on the fly from a database. Imagine a spiral with topics on each ring. If you use your mouse wheel you can zoom deeper in to the spiral getting into the harder topics. The easier topics would fly out past the screen and new topics would scroll out of existence from the center. The user could also use the mouse wheel on click to scroll the spiral left and right. I am looking for someone to program this for me, I figured with your awesome skills you might have some advice. Know of anyone?
great site! i really like your blog entires. dont stop doing it man.
